Marvin Bell Rocks

From Iowa-based poet Marvin Bell (the state's first "poet lariat"), two verses from a song parody recalled from a class in geology at Alfred University, c1954, written by Eric Heistack and Daniel Sass—

When a glacier gets shocks
And drops boulders and rocks,
That's a moraine!

By the sand in my sock,
That's not igneous rock,
That's a moraine!
